NEW YORK, NY MAY 15—Friedman LLP audit manager Judy Seidman begins a three-year term on the board of directors of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) in June.

 

Seidman assumes her new position following a productive year as the president of the society’s Manhattan/Bronx chapter. Her presence on the state board will allow her to continue to represent her chapter’s interests while having increased input into the overall direction of the NYSSCPA.

 

 “Judy sets a strong example in terms of the value of service and commitment—to the firm, to her clients and to the profession as a whole,” according to Managing Partner Bruce Madnick. “We are very proud of her.”

 

Seidman will be formally elected at the society’s 109th Annual Election Meeting Dinner on Thursday, May 18 at the Marriott Marquis in New York City.
