NEW YORK, NY, AUGUST 29—Friedman LLP was ranked among the top 25 fastest growing auditors of public companies as compiled by Bowman Accounting Report, an Atlanta-based publication aimed at accounting firm leaders. 

 

Overall, the firm placed 13th on the list on the strength of six additional SEC engagements added in the past year, an uptick that merited the firm a special mention as having grown "fastest at the client level."

 

"There's a lot of movement in the industry as larger firms have to refocus due to Sarbanes Oxley," according to Jeff Zudeck, managing partner at Friedman's New Jersey office and a key part of its public companies practice. "We've always been well positioned to do the work, and we're now we're making even bigger strides in attracting major audit clients."
