Crain’s New York Business surveyed over 25,000 New York area employees at over 300 companies for its November 17 rankings. Among a broad cross-section of the city's economy, Friedman finished strongly: #4 among midsized firms and #13 overall.
Friedman employees “have a strong stake in their company's success,” they wrote. A number of the firm’s policies were singled out: recruiting bonuses and referral fees; Fridays off in the summer; and a staff appreciation day office closure at the conclusion of tax season.
