Michael Saccomanno is a partner in Friedman LLP's Forensic Accounting, Litigation Support & Valuation Services (FLVS) Group. He has dedicated more than 15 years of his career to the forensic accounting field, with a concentration in business valuations, dispute resolutions, economic mediations and fraud investigations.

Michael works with public and private clients in a range of industries, including manufacturing/distribution, technology and insurance, among others. He is routinely engaged by the area's top attorneys and appointed by various courts to analyze, investigate, report on and/or mediate financial disputes involving individuals and corporations.

His expertise includes:

  • Consulting on business valuation and litigation support projects that involve; buying or selling a business, buy/sell agreements, Federal gift and estate taxation matters, family limited partnerships (FLP), equitable distribution proceedings (marital dissolution), shareholder disputes, loss of income, fairness opinions, and Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs)
  • Providing public company opinions on Over the Counter Bulletin Board / Pink Sheet Companies regarding restricted stock valuations, fairness opinions, and the reasonableness of forecasted financial statements
  • Calculation of quality of life issues, the marital lifestyle relating to marital dissolution, alimony, and child support for various courts throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania
  • Proposed settlement structures for division of assets among partners, and annual goodwill impairment testing
  • Corporate fraud, misappropriation of funds, lapses in internal controls, and employee embezzlement
