Friedman LLP is pleased to announce that Edward Ajoda has joined the Friedman family as an International tax principal in our New York office. Edward has more than 25 years of international tax experience across a wide range of industries including real estate, manufacturing, service entities, jewelry, apparel, wholesale/distribution, retail and nonprofits.
Prior to joining Friedman, Edward served as a tax partner at KMR LLP an 18-person accounting firm based out of New York City. His specializations include:
- Navigating clients through complex international tax regulations
- Conducting comprehensive tax planning to optimize clients' financial opportunities
- Overseeing tax controversy and tax compliance for entrepreneurial organizations, as well as large multinational corporations
- Analyzing and planning for international tax issues that affect both inbound and outbound U.S. investments
Edward earned his B.S. in Accounting from Excelsior College, his M.S. in Taxation from Pace University and his J.D. from New York Law School. He is a Certified Public Accountant and an Attorney-at-Law.
