Harry C. Steinmetz, CPA, CFE, is the Partner-In-Charge of New York Forensic, Litigation & Valuation Services (FLVS) at Friedman LLP. He is also Partner-In-Charge of Transaction Advisory Services and services to lenders at Friedman LLP. He has more than 40 years of experience providing litigation support and forensic accounting services in criminal and civil litigation cases as well as buy & sell side consulting services.


Harry has represented individual entities, financial institutions, insurance companies and law firms, and has advised on fidelity claims resolution, bankruptcy, and merger and acquisition matters. Harry’s experience in providing large scale litigation support for high profile cases includes but is not limited to representing the defendants in the Dewey and LeBoeuf criminal fraud matter, representing a defendant in the Bernie Madoff matter, and representing the District Attorney of New York as a monitor in a sales tax fraud plea bargain agreement.

He also has experience in providing due diligence services on transactions varying in size and complexity and has worked on transactions such as the acquisition of Airborne, Citibike, Equinox Fitness Clubs, Miami Dolphins and many others.
